NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah’s son Mihir Shah was arrested on Tuesday, three days after his BMW rammed into a couple’s bike in Mumbai killing a woman.
Six police teams had been deployed to arrest the 24-year-old following the fatal accident.
Kaveri Nakhwa, the 45-year-old woman who died in the accident, and her husband Pradip, were riding back on their scooter after purchasing wholesale fish near Crawford Market.
Rajesh Shah serves as a Shiv Sena representative from Palghar within the faction led by chief minister Eknath Shinde.
