The battle for the top two spots in World Test Championship table is heating up with India, Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka all in the fray. So this second Test will have interest from Down Under as well. South Africa have been on a winning spree as they have won their last four Tests and in the process jumped to the number two spot. They have three more Tests in this cycle and a couple of victories should seal their place for the WTC final. Sri Lanka themselves came into this series having won their previous three Tests but were blown away at Durban. However, they too have three games to play and destiny in their own hands. Gqeberha is playing host and Sri Lanka will have fond memories here as this is the venue where they recorded their first Test series win in South Africa back in 2019.
