Donald Trump addressed an hour long press conference yesterday at his home berating Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. But what followed was a statement from the Harris-Walz campaign which trolled Trump and called it a ‘very good, very normal’ press conference — sarcastically. “Donald Trump took a break from taking a break to put on some pants and host a press conference public meltdown,” the campaign release said including the strikethrough.
“He hasn’t campaigned all week.He isn’t going to a single swing state this week. But he sure is mad Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are getting big crowds across the battlegrounds,” it said.
“The facts were hard to track and harder to find is Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago meltdown this afternoon,” it said.
‘We’re here to help because his staff clearly isn’t,” it added before delving into a deeper factcheck of everything Trump said.
Kamala Harris was asked to comment on some of Trump’s criticisms to which Harris said she didn’t hear the press conference and was too busy talking to voters.

A @dril meme in a press release
Internet could not keep calm about a @dril meme pasted on the press conference . @dril is an infamous X user with a huge following. The press release had a 2014 viral tweet of the account which said: “and another thing: Im not mad. please dont put in the newspaper that i got mad”. The post was used as a sharp dig at Trump.
‘Donald, don’t stop talking’
Donald Trump niece Mary Trump, a vocal critic of his uncle, posted a blog in response to the press conference and said she never though she would have this advice for Donald. “Don’t stop talking”.
“Donald would never admit this, but the fact that he can’t draw big crowds anymore is making him crazy. That’s an even worse fate than getting knocked off the front page of every newspaper he reads. Having ceded the spotlight to the positive and hopeful campaign of the Harris/Walz team, he’s in desperate need of attention,” Mary wrote.
“The more America sees that side of him, the better it will be for all of us. This afternoon it was evident that Donald is fighting against the reality of his new situation—a bitter, vengeful man sliding into irrelevance—if the corporate media and the Republican Party would only let him. That’s why he almost only grants interviews on propaganda networks. That’s why he only does town halls in front of friendly audiences who applaud him in all the right places. But as we saw today, even controlled environments aren’t enough to keep him safe from his lack of discipline and impulse control,” Mary added.
