President Joe Biden‘s official health report certified him as fit and fine at 81 but now reports based on the visitors’ record of the White House claimed that a top neurologist, Dr Kevin Cannard, a Parkinson’s disease expert, met Biden’s personal doctor Kevin O’Connor and two others at the White House on January 17. It is not known what they spoke about but according to insiders Biden’s health was probably the topic they spoke.
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Tx), the doctor for both Presidents Obama and Trump said Biden’s personal doctor is trying to “cover-up” the diminishing cognitive health of the president. Jackson said Connor is like a son to Jill Biden and almost a part of the Biden family.
Does Biden have Parkinson’s?
After seen Biden faltering, zoning out, many experts have claimed that Biden has clear signs of Parkinson’s which affects the nervous system and the parts of the body controlled by nerves. Calls for the president to take cognitive tests are becoming louder.
The February health report of the White House said Biden was fir for duty. It dismissed Parkinson’s and said no evidence was found in the detailed neurological exam. And there was no mention of any cognitive testing.
The White House blamed Biden’s cold, international trips across several time zones for his faltering in the debate. It was reported that after the debate, he was checked by a physician but the White House later confirmed that the check was only for the cold and not any physical check up. “It’s not necessary,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on a question on whether Biden should undergo a cognitive test.
A New York Times report said people who spend time with Biden are familiar with Biden’s lapses and consider them as very common. White House also peddled a narrative that Biden functions fine during the daytime between 10 am to 4 pm. Biden reportedly told Democratic governors he needs more sleep and that he would stop scheduling events after 8 pm.
