KURUKSHETRA: Former Haryana deputy chief minister (CM) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Singh Chautala said that Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini-led state government is day-by-day taking u-turns on the decisions taken by the government led by his predecessor CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
Dushyant was speaking to the media after JJP workers’ meeting at Brahmin Dharamshala in Kurukshetra on Friday, which was also attended by JJP national president Ajay Singh Chautala and JJP Haryana president Brij Sharma.
“I believe, Nayab Saini’s u-turn government is every day taking u-turn on the decisions of the government of Manohar Lal. It is out of nervousness. They have seen that public opinion is against them (BJP). In that nervousness, they are making some decisions in haste. Whether it is the issue of stilt plus 4 floors. Their own party’s speaker (Gian Chand Gupta) yesterday wrote a letter that more discussion should be done on stilt plus 4 floors, but the government is taking u-turn. Take issue of property ID, infrastructure of Parivar Pehchan Patra is lying defunct for last 7 days and public is getting harassed. In Panchayati Raj, the decision of increasing Sarpanch’s power for spending Rs 21 lakh for development works from panchayat funds raising it from Rs 5 lakh”, said Dushyant Chautala, adding that these u-turns clearly show that this government has lost people’s confidence.
About the INLD-BSP alliance, Dushyant said, “It is a planned setting. In some days, it will be exposed that this alliance has been done in whose direction.”
If JJP will do any alliance, Dushyant said, “We are covering all 90 constituencies in 22 districts. As we complete all 90 constituencies, we will come out in the field and then we will see the future.”
About the murder of a JJP worker in Hansi, Dushyant said, “I met Ravinder Saini’s family yesterday. He was a hard working candidate. He was present at a party meeting 24 hours before the incident. This incident shows the law and order situation of the state. Government gunman was present on the spot, despite that such an incident took place, it shows complete law and order failure. I remember Nayab Saini Ji addressing the first gathering in Bahadurgarh after becoming CM that such goonda elements should leave the state. Goonda elements did not leave the state but became more active.”
“Discussion has been held with the party workers about the upcoming state assembly elections. Dr Ajay Singh Chautala has also given directions about how the workers should campaign door to door and work to strengthen the party structure strongly. I believe, it is history that whether it was in 1977, 1984, 1987 or 2014, whenever the people wanted a change, big changes have taken place. You will see in the coming days how the situation will change in the state”, said Dushyant Chautala.
