Over 500 runners wearing inflatable Tyrannosaurus rex costumes fought harsh windy conditions for a charity fun run on Douglas Promenade on Saturday. The event was organised by Expedition Limitless and supported by Manx Mencap, a charity for learning disabilities, as per BBC News.

Participants completed a 1.5-mile (2.5km) course, setting what is claimed to be an unofficial world record for the largest T rex race ever.The run raised £12,000, pushing Expedition Limitless’s total fundraising to over £120,000, including their recent kayaking trip in Canada.
Team leader of Expedition Limitless, Martyn Malone, described the event as “absolutely incredible,” showcasing both the enjoyment of the event and its significant impact on the charity.
