North Korea launched an unidentified missile off its east coast on Thursday, South Korea‘s military reported.
This incident occurred just one day after the US presidential debate, where Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, criticized former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, for his “love letters” with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Earlier, North Korea launched the missile was on July 1, when the country claimed to have successfully tested a new tactical ballistic missile capable of carrying a super-large warhead weighing 4.5 tons.
In addition to the missile launches, North Korea has been sending balloons carrying trash across the border into South Korea over the past few days. This campaign was initiated in May as retaliation against South Korean activists who had been using inflatables to send anti-Pyongyang leaflets into North Korea.
