After former president Donald Trump said he has no problems in releasing Jeffrey Epstein files in a podcast with Lex Fridman, Trump critics called him out and shared a purported photo of Trump with his kids around Jeffrey Epstein. During the podcast, as Trump was speaking about his promise of releasing Kennedy assassination files, he said he would be inclined to release Epstein files also as he fortunately never visited Epstein island.
Donald Trump’s name came up among those top-notches who were close to the sex offender but Trump was not accused of any wrongdoing. They were friends and used to party together but a book claimed that Trump banned Epstein from his exclusive Mar-a-Lago Club after Epstein hit on a teenage daughter of a member of the club. This ban came months before Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to state criminal charges in Florida which included paying for sexual services from a minor.

Trump served flip-flop comments on Epstein. In the podcast too, he said Epstein was a great salesman. But once Trump said he was not a fan of Epstein. In 2002, however, he said he knew Epstein for 15 years and Epstein was a lot of fun to be with. “It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” Trump said at that time.
But did Donald Trump ever take his kids to Epstein? According to reports, Donald brought his son Eric who was then 11 years old onto a flight with Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell. The Trumps flew with Epstein and Maxwell aboard a Grumman Gulfstream II private jet from Palm Beach, Florida, to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on August 13, 1995, the flight logs showed, a Business Insider report said.
“These flight logs show that Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jets far more frequently than previous sets of records associated with Epstein’s aircraft had indicated. According to the logs, Trump also flew on one of Epstein’s planes four times in 1993, twice in 1994, and again in 1997,” the report added.
