Former President Donald Trump expressed gratitude to Robert F Kennedy Jr after he suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed Trump for the upcoming .
Addressing a gathering of restaurant workers and supporters during a recent visit to Il Toro E La Capra, a restaurant in Las Vegas, Trump said, “We just had a very nice endorsement from RFK Jr, Bobby…I want to thank everybody, and I want to thank Bobby. That was very nice. That’s big. He’s a great guy, respected by everybody.”

The announcement came during a speech in Phoenix, where Kennedy criticized the Democratic Party for what he described as “abandoning democracy” and engaging in “relentless legal warfare” against both himself and Trump.
Kennedy’s campaign began with high hopes as he sought to challenge President Biden for the Democratic nomination. However, facing numerous hurdles and what he perceived as obstruction from within the party, Kennedy pivoted to an independent campaign.
This shift raised concerns among both Biden and Trump supporters, who worried that Kennedy’s presence might divert votes from their respective candidates.
Despite an initial surge of support, Kennedy’s campaign struggled to maintain momentum, with poll numbers eventually dwindling and financial resources running low. These challenges culminated in his decision to withdraw from the race and lend his support to Trump.
