An Ohio woman was injured on Monday evening after being struck by a can of Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer during a promotional event in Medina Township. The incident occurred at around 5:30 pm (local time) at Thirsty Cowboy, a popular local music venue where Hogan was promoting his newly launched beer, as per the reports by the US Today.
The woman, who has not been publicly identified, was hit by a beer can that was thrown from the stage, knocking her to the ground.Witnesses at the scene provided conflicting accounts of the incident, with some claiming that Hulk Hogan himself threw the beer can, while others stated it was a crew member who hurled it “like a baseball pitch.” The force of the impact caused the woman to suffer a wound that required nine stitches.

Hogan was in Medina Township, near Akron, as part of a 17-state tour to promote Real American Beer, which launched in early June. The beer, described as an “easy-drinking light lager,” is being marketed to both fans of the wrestling icon and beer enthusiasts alike.
Following the incident, the Medina Township police were called to the venue. Officers reported receiving varying testimonies from those present, which led to no arrests being made, reported the US Today. The injured woman was treated for her wound at the scene and later received nine stitches.

In a press release from June, Hulk Hogan expressed his excitement about the beer’s launch, saying, “We’ve formed an all-star team to make it happen, and I’m excited to introduce Real American Beer to fans and beer lovers everywhere.”
