In a video shared on social media, Harry was seen spinning Meghan around the dance floor before she pulled him in for a kiss on the lips.
Meghan chose a skirt designed by Colombian brand Juan De Dios, led by entrepreneurs Maria Fernanda Valencia and Isabella Gutierrez for the salsa dance.
Roommate shares Meghan’s salsa secret
Iris Amador, Meghan Markle’s former roommate from Northwestern University shared on an instagram post that she had taken salsa lessons from Duchess of Sussex.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit Colombia, including #Cali, the world capital of salsa—music and dance that Meghan Markle likes, with whom we shared salsa classes at university, Salsa lessons with the then future-to-be #DuchessOfSussex, in college” Amador wrote in Spanish posting a throwback picture with Meghan Markle and other students.
Prince and princess’ romantic moments
During their four-day tour, Prince Harry and Meghan shared numerous romantic moments, including when the Duke of Sussex gently kissed his wife on the forehead during an embrace at the National Centre for the Arts in Bogotá. The couple frequently held hands and exchanged affectionate pats on the back throughout the tour.
For the final event of their visit, Prince Harry and Meghan attended the Petronio Music Festival in Cali, a celebration of Afro-Colombian music and dance. On stage, the Duchess of Sussex praised the country, saying, “Your country is so beautiful!” Meghan, who demonstrated her Spanish language skills multiple times throughout the trip, also translated Prince Harry’s remarks to the audience.
