Former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday launched a fierce critique of Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden, stressing his disdain for their economic policies and leadership.
Trump’s central claim was that Harris’s policies have worsened the economic situation for Americans. “Joe Biden hates her,” Trump declared. He went on to criticise Harris’s background, saying, “Her father was a Marxist economic professor. He was a Marxist and a vowed Marxist. This is not what we want in this country.” Trump questioned, “Does anyone here feel richer under Kamala Harris and Joe?” and he asserted, “Is anything less expensive under Kamala Harris or Joe?”
Trump also expressed his frustration over the current economic climate, attributing it to Harris’s and Biden’s policies. “Inflation has been devastating,” he said. Trump warned that if he does not win the upcoming election, the country could face an economic downturn akin to the Great Depression. “If I don’t win there will be a 1929-like economic depression,” he claimed.

Trump took aim at Harris’s plan for price controls on groceries, suggesting that it would exacerbate current economic problems. “Her radical liberal policies, of course, horrific inflation decimated the middle class and gutted the finances of millions of American families,” Trump said.
He highlighted the financial strain faced by households, noting, “Real incomes are down by over 2,000 dollars a year” and criticised what he termed the “Kamala Harris inflation tax.”
Trump also defended his own debate performance and criticized Biden’s, claiming, “They said his debate performance wasn’t the best ever. But they said mine was the best ever.” He hinted that debating Harris would be easier, describing her policies as “so bad.”
“She will be easier to beat than him because she is truly a radical left lunatic,” Trump said.
