The Israeli military released a statement on Tuesday, revealing that their forces had eliminated approximately 100 Palestinian militants in Rafah, a city situated in southern Gaza, over the course of the past few days, reported Reuters.
According to the statement, Israeli soldiers conducting operations in Rafah’s Shabura district successfully identified an armed militant cell and “with a precise strike, eliminated the terrorists”.Additionally, the military claimed to have destroyed hundreds of sites associated with militant infrastructure during the operation.
“IDF strike eliminates an armed terrorist cell in Rafah. Additionally, IDF soldiers eliminated approx. 100 terrorists and located weapons and hideout pits during ongoing, precise operations in the area,” said the IDF.
