Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance‘s childless cat ladies comment targeting Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg and AOC has struck all the wrong chords as the Republican leader is facing a volley of criticism from all quarters — Jennifer Anniston being the latest. Now another clip has emerged on social media highlighting JD Vance’s stand on childless people.
In the new video, JD Vance can be seen laying out his belief that voters with child/children and voters without child are not the same.

“Let’s give votes to all children in this country. But let’s give control over those votes to the parents of those children. (Claps from audience). When you go to the polls in this country as a parent, you should have more power, you should have more of an ability to speak your voice in our democratic republic than people who don’t have kids. Let’s face the consequences in the reality. If you don’t have as much of an investment in the future of the country, maybe you shouldn’t get nearly the same voice,” Vance said in the controversial clip.
Simply put, Vance said childless people should not have the same power of voting as parents. But as he couldn’t probably advocate for taking voting rights away from childless people, he said parents should get double voting rights — theirs and their children’s as well.
‘Look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC’
JD Vance harbors scorn for childless people including those who do not have their own biological child. Because both Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg were parents when Vance took the ‘childless cat ladies’ jibe at them.
“Look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez], the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. How does it make any sense we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?” JD Vance said.
